Celebrated the 1st Sunday of Christmas with worship in the morning and family in the afternoon. I am challenged to answer the question: What would Jesus, the child born in a manger, wish for most? The answers will be life-changing.
To accept the love that God has given me, from the very beginning.
To believe that God loves and values me more than I can imagine.
To let love influence everything I do.
To stay on track: celebrate Holy Communion often, to study the Word of God, and to obey the sum of the commandments - love God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength; and to love my neighbor as myself.
To learn together, through the community of faith, the church.
To lead from love, not from fear.
