Sunday morning's service brought several challenges. The Gospel lesson is Matthew 4:1-11 (Jesus' temptations in the desert for forty days).
I quote Pastor Kip from the sermon: "Jesus' temptation was this: What am I going to do with my life?
"So, I invite you - in the days leading up to Easter - to ask yourself: 'What is my life? What am I all about?' and to be able to say, in 25 words or less, 'This is who I am; this is what I do.' "
I am going to give it a try. It's a draft. It won't be complete or as accurate as I would like. As I contemplate this question this week, I hope you will do the same. Please share your "25 words or less" statements with me. I'll share mine.
