What next?

Okay, so today I am at Annual Conference. But wouldn't you know -- God is challenging me! Remember how a couple of weeks ago my computer went down and I couldn't get on it? Well, first I have been trying to get a variety of things done before I'll be gone for three weeks. Then,..... I pulled a muscle in my back two days ago. I'm being very cautious. It's hilarious to try to put my shoes on. I can barely reach down to pick up anything. And I never realized how much I dropped things until I can't pick them up again :-)

Then..... last night I woke up with such a dry throat, figured I was snoring and that's why my throat was so sore. Not likely. You know that little thingy that is at the back of your throat that kinda is a gagger? Well, it was swollen big time! I felt like something was trying to gag me. I called the Ask A Nurse at 1:30 in the morning to see what I should do. Never had such a thing happen to me. And no one at home. And trying to get ready to go for Annual Conference, and then to Kansas.

Then this morning, trying to get packed with a back that is sore and a throat that's acting up, and I can't get my jeans on or my shoes or tie my shoes, and it's raining, Again! Ugh! I thought I had better have things checked out by the doctor. I didn't want to be out of town and looking for a doctor.

God must just be rolling on the floor, does Heaven have a floor? by now because.... get this: The doctor at the walk in clinic tells me, after having checked my labwork, that no, I don't have an infection, but I do need to do stretching, cuz he can obviously tell just by looking at me that I am in need of exercise! I love it! He says I don't need any pills, no painkillers, no antibiotics, no gyms, just honest to goodness stretching exercises and he proceeds to show me, on my body no less!, these exercises. Well, by then, my back is killing me and I'm as tight as a bow, but so relieved to know that it's nothing too terribly serious, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

But, I walked out of his office feeling a whole lot better - in spite of a sore back and a gagging throat! Thank you, God.
