One week done, one to go at Licensing School
Finished the first week of Licensing School. Two major topics discussed this week were Worship and Pastoral Care. We had speakers in the evening to discuss such things as Board of Ordained Ministry and a round table discussion on "Now What? What's the First Thing I Should Do?" We prepared and gave sermons this past week as well. And this morning attended two diferent churches, one for the Traditional service and one for an Emerging or Blended service. Tonight's discussion was details about Course of Study. Next week begins Organization of a Parish, Church Administration, and Christian Action. We will have speakers in the evening to discuss pastoral ministry and clergy tax issues. We will close next week with a Worship service and a Blessing of the Hands.

Good to hear you are doing well at school. We are praying for you that God would continue to speak and you would continue to listen. Keep up the hard work, and I'll see you this weekend. Can't wait to hear all about the trip and training.
