Home

What a great experience these last two weeks have been. I am glad to be back home, but still in my mind's eye I am seeing each of my colleagues from Licensing School and naming them. I hope to have some pictures to post soon. The Healing worship service the day before and the Blessing of the Hands worship service our last day, were powerful, emotionally wrought, times of coming to God. The Healing Service just about wiped me out because I still come before God with sadness, and longing for what could have been, and sorrow for what has been, and a desire that all these experiences of death be redeemed. I know that they will be, in fact God is already redeeming those experiences, but I hurt so and the emotions and I don't know what all, come rising to the surface and overwhelm me. The Blessing of the Hands was an affirmation of each one of God's call on our lives, and a dedication/vow to serve God in all that we do and say. While each of us is human, and broken, and make mistakes, we focus our intentions on God and trust God to provide all that we will need. It is not about us; it is about God, how God works in our lives and through our lives to touch others, bringing them into relationship.
