Signs of Spring

I was sitting out on the back deck this morning to read my devotions and noticed the Signs of Spring. We have a pair of mallard ducks sitting on the pond. Well, actually, they are sitting in the water between the ice chunks on the pond. Canadian geese honked noisily as they flew overhead, flying northeast. The birds are beginning to return too. I have seen a couple of robins, a few little birds, and of course the blackbirds. There's some birds that drive me nuts because they chirp this Hee-Haw all the time. Sounds like they are laughing or ridiculing me. It's time to get fresh birdseed to the feeders. I can sit outside wearing a lighter jacket although it's still cool. Spring has returned at least for a couple of days. I say for a couple of days because the weathermen are predicting eight inches or more of snow tonight and tomorrow.
