Walk to Emmaus in the Dakotas

Just came home from a practice session for the Men's and the Women's Dakotas Walk to Emmaus. What a wonderful opportunity we have in the Dakotas (and around the world) to grow in our spiritual walk and to be the Christian disciples and leaders that God would have us be.

Ever wonder what Emmaus is all about?
...the whole reason for The Walk to Emmaus is to make you a more faithful disciple of Jesus Christ and a more active member in your church.

The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The program's approach seriously considers the model of Christ's servanthood and encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant of all."

Both the Men’s Walk from March 27-30 and the Women’s Walk from April 3-6 is at Inspiration Hills. Two other Walks are scheduled for October at Storm Mountain Center. To get involved, each person must have a sponsor who has already attended.

If you would like to talk more about this, let me know.
