Jason, the Director of Youth Ministries, brought us a challenge this past Lenten Wednesday worship service: 'How do we live out our Faith in works? Do we compartmentalize our faith and our works? Is it enough to be saved by faith and not live a life of Christian works? Can we take the "and" out of Faith and Works and live a faith-filled life of faith-works? '
I believe that is exactly what we are to do. We are saved by faith through Jesus, and we live out the gift of salvation by exemplifying our faith in the seen action and word of our daily lives.
Let us strive to be the grace filled vessels that God will use to bring about the kingdom of God on earth, as we so often recite in the Lord's Prayer: "Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Nice thoughts. You're brilliant!! J/K
So Jason, you have certainly brought a depth of conversation to many areas I have been part of this week. And it's only Monday! Both Disciple II and Lenten Devotional study brought up areas of faith works and discussion of works as it relates to salvation. Thanks for speaking the Word!
I was not able to hear you speak as I was in Disciple I. Have you a copy of what you shared?
Everyone who reads this please take a look at my posting on Feb. 26th. My apologies, Jason.
